The Haupt Racing Team and the Arena E Sachsenring Junior Team are joining forces. The goal of the partnership is to actively support talented drivers starting in karting, facilitate the transition from karting to auto racing, and open up long-term opportunities in professional GT racing. The Arena E Sachsenring Junior Team offers ideal opportunities to get started with its own kart track in Mülsen. HRT complements this foundation with its international GT expertise, which extends all the way to the top-tier DTM series.

Last weekend, HRT Ford Racing secured its first podium finish in the DTM with the Ford Mustang GT3 at the DEKRA Lausitzring. Rookie Finn Wiebelhaus, in only his sixth DTM race, claimed his first podium finish in the Sunday race behind the wheel of the #64 Ford Mustang GT3, ensuring that the Ford brand returned to the podium in this prestigious racing series for the first time after 37 years. Teammate Arjun Maini rounded out the team’s strong performance this weekend by securing pole position and finishing fourth in this race.
