Your qualifications:

  • Completed training in the commercial sector, ideally in finance, e.g. tax clerk, tax specialist, accountant or similar
  • Strong business and financial understanding, ideally in the Motorsport or project environment
  • Very good knowledge of financial planning, controlling, reporting and liquidity management
  • Experience in dealing with banks, investors and external financing partners
  • High level of analytical thinking and strategic judgement
  • Leadership with clear, structured communication
  • Confident appearance in German and English
  • High resilience, reliability and absolute discretion
  • Proactive, solution-oriented way of working with an eye for risks and opportunities
  • Knowledge of Sage 100, ELO and/or Datev is an advantage
  • Team spirit, reliability, resilience and a sense of responsibility

Your tasks:

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

  • Developing, controlling and monitoring the total annual budget of the racing team
  • Liquidity planning and ensuring the solvency of the team
  • Banking incl. development of forms of financing, acquisition of debt capital, etc.

Controlling & Reporting:

  • Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting (project and company perspectives) to the management and investors in cooperation with the controller
  • Analysis of deviations, forecasts and profitability calculations
  • Responsible for the financial controlling of development and racing operations

Sponsorship & Partnerships:

  • Support in the financial evaluation of sponsorship contracts
  • Control of income from sponsorship, merchandising and media rights
  • Negotiation and control of financial framework conditions for partner contracts

Team Control & Interface Management:

  • Management of the finance team and, if necessary, management of external consultants
  • Close cooperation with technology, logistics and management
  • Interface to banks, auditors and tax consultants

Compliance & Regulation:

  • Ensuring compliance with international and motorsport-specific financial regulations
  • Risk management and development of control mechanisms

Strategic corporate development:

  • Financial support for investments in vehicle development, infrastructure or personnel
  • Support for expansion projects, new series launches or restructuring
