TRUCK DRIVER & TYRE TECHNICIAN (M/F/D)

 

HRT stands for passion, professionalism and success on the race track. Founded in 2020 by Hubert Haupt, our team is now a permanent fixture in international GT3 racing. What you need:

  • Driving licence C1, C1E, C, CE
  • Professional driver qualification (formerly key number 95 in the driving licence)
  • English language skills (at least) A2
  • German language skills are an advantage
  • Initial experience in motorsport as a tyre technician and / or truck driver an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and worldwide.
  • Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and a high standard of work.

 

Your tasks in the workshop:

  • Preparation of rims and tyres in close cooperation with the technical department
  • Documentation and mileage tracking of rims and tyres
  • Maintenance of tools and equipment in the tyre department
  • Loading and unloading of transport vehicles or containers to ensure clean and safe storage of cars, tyres, equipment and flight cases, in cooperation with logistics and other crew members
  • Driving the lorry to and from the race and test locations and planning the route in advance in cooperation with Logistics
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and appropriate appearance of the lorry and work area
  • General transport tasks for parts or vehicles

 

Your tasks at the race track:

  • Responsible tyre technician for a specific race vehicle
  • Managing the tasks of the tyre technician (e.g. cold and hot pressure, adherence to the planned fitting schedule, etc.) in close cooperation with the technical department at the track
  • Compliance with tyre-related deadlines and articles of the sporting and technical regulations.
  • Assisting with the assembly/disassembly of team equipment in the garage or awning.
  • Loading and unloading of transport vehicles or containers according to the set-up/loading plan
  • Ensure the cleanliness and appropriate appearance of the vehicle and work area
